Flatiron at Twilight
The Flatirons are the striking, slanted, reddish-brown sandstone formations that make up a portion of Boulder’s (a town in the state of Colorado) foothills on the west side of the town. They are Boulder’s most iconic landmark, and you’ll see their likeness in business logos and artwork throughout town. One activity that is popular among residents as well as tourists is ascending them. One evening while I was in Boulder and I was coming down from climbing up the second Flatiron, I spotted this woman working her way up the first. I had to stop my descent to quickly take this photo.
