Mount Everest
Mount Everest is the tallest mountain on Earth, standing at 29,030ft. Every year hundreds of professional and hobbyist climbers and mountaineers attempt to reach its summit after spending months acclimatising at lower altitudes. I took this photo from the summit of Kala Patthar (18,519 ft), which means Black Stone, just as the sun was beginning to rise behind Everest and Nuptse.
